Like Kamoebas, Ganimes was an animal, in this case a crab or something, that was turned into a giant monster by exposure to Yog. Unlike Kamoebas, Ganimes was never seen again and forever upstaged by Ebirah as the premiere giant shellfish monster of the kaiju world.
