Mini Marvels - Batroc the Leaper

Georges Batroc was a soldier in the French Foreign Legion before deciding to put his master savate fighting skills to the test as a professional mercenary. Despite his flamboyant outfit, bombastic attitude and over-the-top accent, Batroc the Leaper has forged a reputation worldwide as an operative of great skill and reliabilty. Though he perfectly willing to commit crimes for his employers, Batroc sticks to a strict personal code of honour that has often led him to refuse work or even turn on his employers if he decides they aren't worthy of his services. He has battled Captain America many times and considers him his greatest rival. Batroc created his own team, Batroc's Brigade, to help him increase his workload and success rate. After dabbling in alliances with other supervillains and hiring common mercenary thugs with little success, Batroc eventually found kindred spirits in Machete and Zaran, who become long-standing members of the Brigade and close friends of Batroc.
