Mini Marvels - Equinox

Terry Sorenson became Equinox, the Thermodynamic Man, after an accident at his father's lab bombarded him with strange energy. As his father was killed in the explosion, Terry's mother, also a scientist, began to work on a cure for her son's condition. When their funds began to run dry Terry resorted to crime in order to support his mother, coming into conflict with heroes such as the Fantastic Four and Spider-Man. Though his mother's treatments have helped him better control his powers, their fluctuating nature has had an adverse effect on his mind and leaves him prone to bouts of violence and insanity.
